Dual Credit Courses
Dual Credit Courses
Dual Credits courses are college courses which offer a “two for one” advantage. When high school students go to college and successfully complete a college dual credit course, they earn a college credit and a grade 12 secondary school credit for each course taken.
Dual credit courses with a skilled trades focus give students exposure to technology and equipment, assist students with completing their diploma (OSSD) and with transitioning smoothly into a post-secondary pathway with supports in place.
Our College partners (Sheridan, Humber, George Brown, Centennial, and Seneca) have a number of trade specific dual credit courses available such as Electrical, Plumbing, Construction, Welding, Home Renovation, Automotive Service Tech, Baking and Culinary.
Talk to your Guidance Teacher OR Coop Teacher for more information about courses that may be right for you.
